Carol Rae has published in EQUUS, Western Horseman, Sports Spectrum, Sharing The Victory, USA Cycling, Guideposts and many other national publications. She received the award for Best Magazine Article of the year 2000 from the San Diego Christian Writers Guild of which she has been a member since 1995. She teaches Write Magazine Articles That Sell! For Lamar University and writes for The Christian Examiner, one of the largest Christian newspapers in the nation. She has served on the board of directors of the San Diego Christian Writers Guild, the largest county wide Christian writers guild in the country since 2001.  She also moderates and participates in an online critique group.   

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 1975 from the University of California, San Diego and her Masters Degree in Computer Science in 1985 from West Coast University in San Diego.  As Directory of Technology for Global Web Solutions (GWS), a World Wide Web (WWW) service and marketing company, Rae designed and created Internet sites for GWS’s private and corporate clients.

Carol Rae is a software engineer at Teradata.  Since 1979 she has designed and developed computer software, produced technical manuals and created and presented technical training courses. 

She is a Southern California native and now lives in Ramona with her husband and three homeschooled daughters. She teaches Sunday School at Calvary Chapel Ramona and enjoys riding her horses and the high-tech treasure hunting game of geocaching.
